The innovation showcase_Cotec Headquarters installations
The brief
Showcase design pieces for the front windows of the Cotect Foundation new offices in the center of Madrid, to officially present to the public, its initiatives and contents. As well as to serve as an eye-catcher, generating impact and providing character and personality to the headquarters.
The Solution.
An intervention in the space that connects the foundation with the public with two installations that generate an active listening system on the cloud and an open conversation with citizens both running in real-time on site and remote.
The Datascopio
The Main window installation is taking inspiration from the Cotec foundation, using the metaphor of the innovation observatory.

The Datascopio is looking at the cloud in real time to see how the conversations evolve around themes where innovation must be involved. All the results are shown with animations that represent different scales to highlight the most relevant concepts.
The Informatron
Installed In the corner window of the building, a sculptural reactive LED lamp sincronize with a CMS animation system that also allows to create a real-time conversation with the public.
LED LIGHT FRAMES
The LED lights are synchronise using Touch designer and Mad Mapper with the CMS screen animation contents, creating visual effects.

Concept animation design for the visual representation of the real-time cloud search of themes related to innovation at the circular screen of the installation.
People interaction
The public can trigger the installation by searching for specific themes in real-time on-site, as well as online visitors, all the searching topics are shown at the front window.
CMS content allows to generate real-time conversation with the street.
4K LCD SCREEN
The screen is turn into a tool for a conversation with the public in real time, using a CMS back end that showcase module animations of Text, image, video, statistics.
Both installations placed on site. Datascopio on the Main window and the Informatron on the building corner.
The Adding Value
A symbol for the foundation, an activation installation, and two tools: one for social analysis and the other for narrative and communication.
Final industrial design for the production of the Datascopio by closer collaborator and friend Diego Fuertes.
Night Mode
Both installations switch to night mode and display hypnotic and inspiring visual and light animations.
